24/7 Smithfield Stubby Needle 5.75" 1.5 Oz

Inspired by the classic Hab’s-style needlefish, the 24/7 Lures Smithfield Stubby has been reworked using 24/7’s own components and production methods. Its compact, level-sinking design sinks slightly faster than traditional 7- and 9-inch needlefish, making it a strong choice for swift current, deeper water, and rough surf conditions.

The Smithfield Stubby’s weight and profile also provide excellent casting performance. When the wind is in your face or the fish are holding beyond the breakers, this plug helps you reach water that lighter needlefish may not.

The Smithfield Stubby comes rigged with one belly treble hook and a custom-tied flag on the tail loop, with no rear hook. Anglers can easily add a dressed or undressed single hook—or a treble hook—to the rear if preferred. The standard single-hook configuration offers a more fish-friendly setup while making striped bass safer and easier to handle.
