Jigging World AMF Jigging Rod

The Jigging World AMF Jigging Series is built for anglers targeting larger pelagic species with a rod that combines serious strength and backbone with a more forgiving bend under load.

Constructed from 24T Japanese carbon fiber, the AMF series is designed for battles with bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, and other powerful offshore fish. Compared with many heavy jigging rods, the AMF is tuned with a more moderate fighting curve to help reduce angler fatigue while still maintaining the power needed to stay in control of bigger fish.

Understanding the Power Rating

The P rating is Jigging World’s way of indicating the overall power class of the AMF Jigging rod. A higher P number means a more powerful rod intended for heavier jigs, heavier line, and larger fish. It is not a direct pound-test rating by itself, so the actual line and jig ratings should still be used when choosing the right model.
