Jigging World Retro Rod

The Jigging World Retro Conventional Series blends the lightweight feel and sensitivity of carbon fiber with the more forgiving moderate bend traditionally associated with fiberglass rods.

Built on a 30T carbon fiber blank, the Retro is significantly lighter and slimmer than a comparable fiberglass rod while providing better sensitivity throughout the blank. Under load, the rod develops a deep, moderate bend that works especially well for bottom fishing, where a softer tip and more forgiving action can help keep fish pinned.

Red Top Tip: The Retro is a great fit for anglers who like the forgiving feel of an old-school fiberglass bottom-fishing rod but want less weight and better sensitivity. Choose Brown for a traditional straight-guide setup or Black if you prefer a spiral-wrapped conventional rod.
