ODM Jigster Surf Rod

"The Jigster," as the name implies, is designed to excel in fishing jigs and bottom fishing in deep, fast-moving waters such as those found in the Cape Cod Canal and other breachways and inlets. To achieve this, Team ODM collaborated with some of the most experienced Cape anglers to guide the development of this rod. Turning big fish off the bottom in the Canal is no easy task, and ODM knew they had to "get it right." After extensive research, diligence, and testing, the "Jigster" was born.

The Jigster series incorporates advanced carbon material with ODM's unique pattern design, offering both sensitivity and long-distance castability. It delivers the performance of classic jigging and bottom fishing rods while integrating new technologies to reduce weight, all while maintaining an extremely powerful backbone.

Results:

• Ultimate jigging rod: Sensitivity to detect every bounce over the bottom. Feel the jig throughout the entire rod instead of just the tip.
• Extremely strong: Built with the power to handle big game fish from the shore or jetty in fast currents.
• Light and thin: Designed to reduce fatigue during all-night jigging sessions—let the rod do the work.
• Long-distance casting: Reach the "honey hole" that's normally out of range.

Features:

• Advanced carbon technology: Unique layering and patterning process for the ultimate jigging application.
• 2-piece design with 50/50 split: Engineered to flex and perform like a 1-piece rod.
