Red Top Shark Rigs

Built in-house by Red Top employees, these offshore leaders are rigged the same way we fish them ourselves. Each one is hand assembled with heavy-duty components selected for dependable performance when targeting tuna and other powerful offshore fish.

We use 49-strand cable where extra abrasion resistance and bite protection are needed, paired with heavy offshore monofilament for strength, shock absorption, and reliable handling under load. Every rig is put together with a practical, fish-first approach rather than mass-production shortcuts.
