Shimano Grappler Type J Spin A

The Shimano Grappler Type J is a versatile nearshore and offshore jigging rod series built for smooth, efficient jigging and strong lifting power.

Using Shimano’s Spiral X and Hi-Power X technologies, the redesigned Type J blanks offer added rigidity without unnecessary weight. New actions and tapers help the rods work jigs naturally while reducing fatigue during long jigging sessions.

The series is available in both spinning and conventional models, with a wide range of powers for everything from lighter nearshore jigging to heavier offshore applications. Medium Heavy through Extra-Extra Heavy models feature increased butt-section power for added lifting strength.
