Shimano Speedmaster II

The Shimano SpeedMaster II is a powerful two-speed lever drag reel built for serious saltwater fishing where smooth drag, cranking power, and durability matter.

A rigid HAGANE Body helps keep the drivetrain aligned under heavy load, while the S-Compact Body keeps the reel comfortable and manageable in hand. Super Free Spool allows smooth drops and controlled bait or jig presentations, and the sealed Cross Carbon Drag with CoreProtect adds protection for demanding saltwater use.

Corrosion-resistant S A-RB bearings further improve durability in harsh marine environments. The 20II and 25II models also include an additional drag cam designed to optimize drag performance when fishing monofilament line.
